Over the last 3 years, Custom Contracting Group has completed a number of renovations for us including opening up the family and living rooms, installing a new wall unit and fireplace, bathroom renos, building a new basement bedroom, as well as flooring and new windows. In each case, the quality and attention to detail was excellent. The work was completed on a time and on budget and the crew is a pleasure to work with. We’ve completed several renovations over the last 20 years and Custom Contracting Group is at the top of the list for any future projects. Thanks Paul, Alex, Nick, Tim and the rest of the crew!

STAIRS & RAILINGS... "Our Occupational Therapist had recommended the team at Custom Contracting Group to help with some modifications my mom needed in her bathroom after her stroke. I was blown away by how quick they were to respond and with such empathy and care while executing the installation. Once we needed railings outside, Alex heard my concern of wanting the outdoor safety railing to look aesthetically pleasing and not to indicate someone was residing inside with physical challenges. My mother's safety and security being paramount. Once again, Alex's professionalism, talent and responsiveness, blew me away. His team is tremendous. I am writing this recommendation for residential renovation services provided by the Custom Contracting Group Inc. This is the second time I’ve worked with Paul Smith (owner and general contractor) to have work done on my home. Overall, I was very satisfied with the work completed - the quality and attention to detail was at a high level.
The scope of the first renovation (Jan-Mar 2018) was to redo our kitchen and adjoining family room. The work included all electrical and plumbing, range ventilation, new flooring, drywall, baseboard and crown molding, and a new custom-made fireplace mantle. The kitchen cabinetry was provided by another company.
The scope of the second renovation (Jan-Apr 2020) was a basement renovation. The work included all electrical and plumbing, new flooring, drywall, baseboard and window/door casing, additional central-vac outlet and a custom build-out wall to accommodate a linear fireplace and large-screen TV. The kitchenette cabinetry was provided by another company.
In both projects we were very pleased with the final results. We have a third renovation project in mind and will once again be approaching the Custom Contracting Group to complete the work. Great job!
